what is restorative yoga?

Restorative Yoga is a powerful healing tool that reduces stress by supporting the body's innate responses towards homeostasis and health.
It is an integral element in any therapeutic protocol that combines both challenge and recovery; this includes not only yoga, but also body work and other fitness-related regimens.
Through the use of supported yoga postures and breathing and meditative techniques, a profound sense of relaxation can infuse one's entire being.
Restorative Yoga techniques are used to treat nervous system disorders such as insomnia, hypertension, anxiety, and specific ailments such as skin conditions and infertility.
